Description :
  • Monitors growth and health, assesses neurological/musculoskeletal systems and determines any need for genetics/medical appointments.
  • Observes hygiene, behavior, well-being, development, or safety and educates parents on health/safety topics.
  • Assesses how parents administer medicines, formula, or nutrition intake for tube feeding and collaborates with physicians.
  • Screens hearing/vision and attends doctor appointments with families if needed to understand and navigate the medical system.
  • Tests and teaches developmental skills in all five areas of development and helps families perform activities to enhance developmental levels with their children in homes or daycares.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements :

Requirements consist of possession of a valid Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or, Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) and one year of professional nursing experience, OR, a Bachelor's in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a Registered Nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or, Registered Nurse License recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC), plus one additional year of professional nursing experience in a field of nursing appropriate to the health care setting.
